About this Recipe:

This takes a little bit of effort, but it’s worth it – a rum punch doesn’t have to taste like a sugar filled fruit puree. It does however need to be packed with flavor and this one delivers.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 BlueHenry Dehydrated Grapefruit Wheels
  • 2 BlueHenry Dehydrated Lemon Wheels
  • 3 BlueHenry Dehydrated Orange Wheels (save 1 for a garnish)
  • 2 oz of hot water
  • 1 Tbsp of black tea
  • 2 + 1/2 oz of rum
  • 1 oz of lemon juice
  • 2 oz simple syrup
  • Grated nutmeg for garnish

Tools:

  • Shaker
  • Strainer
  • Highball glass

Instructions:

  1. In a shaker, add the BlueHenry Dehydrated Grapefruit, Lemon, and 2 of the Dehydrated Orange wheels, as well as the hot water, black tea, rum, simple syrup and lemon juice.
  2. Dry shake the ingredients, then double strain over an ice-filled highball glass.
  3. Garnish with grated nutmeg and a BlueHenry Dehydrated Orange wheel.
