Wind down and sip on all of the best cozy fall flavors when you enjoy this Apple Cider Hot Toddy! This warm whiskey cocktail is made flavorful with honey, lemon juice, apple cider, and of course garnished with your favorite BlueHenry Dehydrated fruits.


  • 1 Cup Apple Cider
  • 1 Fresh Lemon
  • 1 Star Anise
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • BlueHenry Dehydrated Apples
  • BlueHenry Dehydrated Lemons
  • 2 oz Whiskey


  • Small Pot
  • Clear Mug


  • Combine the apple cider, juice from half the lemon, honey, cinnamon, and star anise in a small pot. Bring the mixture up to a simmer over high heat. Once it comes to a simmer, remove the pan from the heat and allow it to steep for 2 minutes. 
  • Add the whiskey to the apple cider and serve in your favorite mug garnished with a BlueHenry Dehydrated Lemon and Apple. Be sure to remove the mixture off the heat before adding the whiskey to avoid alcohol evaporation.
  • This drink can be kept warm on the stovetop or transferred to a slow cooker if you are making a larger batch.
